Poor quality of UPSRTC buses

I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the daily bus travels and address the concerns regarding the current state of public transportation. As the government encourages the use of public transport over private vehicles to conserve resources, it is disheartening to see that the buses, in general, do not meet the desired standards. Only a limited number of premium buses offer better services, but they are too expensive for an average person to afford on a daily basis. The seats in regular buses are often torn and the buses are not adequately maintained. Upon entering the bus, one can even smell the pungent odors.
